Krissy is a professionally trained cook, food stylist, writer, editor, and culinary producer.
With a personal focus on home cooking, mostly seasonal ingredients, and accessible technique, Krissy works in a variety of roles in the New York City food media landscape.
Following graduation from Boston College in 2017, she moved to New York City and embarked on a career in the tech industry. After two and a half years of soul-searching and hosting frequent dinner parties, she finally took the plunge and enrolled at the Institute of Culinary Education in the fall of 2019. After finishing classes on the heels of the COVID-19 pandemic, she spent the lockdown cooking, blogging, and teaching virtual cooking classes.
In early 2021, Krissy landed a fellowship on the Digital Culinary Production team at Food Network, where she wrote culinary breakdowns for various video productions, tested recipes, and served as a culinary producer for live cooking demonstrations on the Food Network Kitchen app. She also wrote several SEO-focused articles featured on FoodNetwork.com that can be found here.
Following her fellowship, Krissy has continued to work on several Food Network shows, in addition to various other culinary work at Food52, NBC, GrubHub, Apartment Therapy, Dotdash Meredith, and Martha Stewart.
She lives in a small apartment full of cookbooks in New York City.
